Works without a connection
The latest rates are stored on the device. You can convert an amount on a plane or underground — and the app will tell you honestly that the rate is not fresh.
Collects nothing about you

What a warning looks like
A healthy state is deliberately left uncoloured: colour appears only when a number cannot be trusted. An ECB rate after the weekend is legitimately old — that is a caution, not a failure, and the two have different colours.
